Website Top Rankings - Article Writing
Author: George Josserme
It is likely that you are reading this article because you heard how beneficial article-writing is to get Search Engine traffic and to improve website top rankings. Am I correct? I thought so.
There is more to article-writing, however. One fact is the large number of publications written by unscrupulous folks exploiting ignorance. Those authors make the naive guy imagine mass-submitting large numbers of his articles to lots of websites; and later on... abracadabra... "Look ma, my website is at the top !" They just lead the poor guy to believe that it is a competent way to gain Search Engine traffic and top rankings for his website.
I am a certified SE Marketing Specialist, and I tell you "DO NOT DO IT !" The humans behind Search Engines already thought of it. They call it "Repetition", and they decided to penalize a website using deceitfully ways to increase Search Engine placement and traffic.
Bring up the chair, read on, and you then decide.
1a.- You write one article and mass-submit it to 80 websites. When Search Engines find them, you have a problem hard to defuse. Spiders want unique content in EACH web page, but you gave spiders 80 copies of the same article. If you write 20 articles, you have 1,600 identical articles.
2a.- Search Engines are reluctunt to give top rankings to web pages not updated often. Spiders are instructed to conceive those web pages as having obsolete information. The folks inculcating you to write large number of articles AND to mass-submit them got you into the mountain-like job of regularly updating 1,600 articles; and if you do not, spiders will find links that became incriminating all pointing to your website. Ouch !
3a.- Assuming you write good articles, web site owners see them worth publishing in their websites. Your articles are now being published in private websites which you cannot access to update them. You are sinking in quicksand. Help !
4a.- The majority of websites accepting the articles you submit to have a rather low PageRank. As a result, spiders find your articles in what I call "Bad Neighborhoods". You want your articles published in websites with a PageRank of 5 or better.
If you can picture your situation, you should deduce that it is more beneficial to stick to few and highly reputable websites. This is why:
1b.- Your work is found by spiders in "Good Neighborhoods".
2b.- It is reasonable and civilized for you to update your articles
with fresh content regularly.
3b.- Website owners find and publish your articles which you change regualrly ~and consequently~ they mostly are different.
When you conceive Search Engine optimization this way, and you read material like my Chapter 5 on Article Writing Secrets ~which is now available for a small fee~ your website begins climbing to the top.
I'll see you there. Trust me.
